chrysallis

I came to Your table
I drank Your wine
I feasted with pleasure
On all that was mine

You gave me permission
To carry You on
then I found myself dying
where I didn’t belong

I have prayed for Your guidance
I have listened with Heart
I have done all Your bidding
As best I could start

Now the doorway is plastered
With nail, wood, and stone
And I am dissolving
mind/body and bone

No matter the reason
No matter the cause
No choices remain
But to follow Your Laws

Though lasting Existence
Is all that is left
This final resistance
Is just before death

May we feast with great pleasure
Transforming all to what’s Real
May Love flow in full measure
So all may be healed
